COTTAGE WITH A VIEW

Beautiful view of the Ottawa River and Quebec hillsides, perfect spot to enjoy a sunset reflected over the water.
Main level is open concept, eat in kitchen, dining room and great room all enjoy the view of the river through a wall of windows that bring the outdoors in. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher. The master bedroom is on the main level with a spectacular view of the river. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.
A spacious deck wraps around two sides of the home can be accessed via sliding doors in the great room or master bedroom. A great spot to relax while taking in the panoramic view or to enjoy meal. There is also a door from the kitchen area that leads directly to the barbecue for convenience.
2 full bathrooms complete with shower sink and toilet. (One on each level.)
Lower level has 3 bedrooms, a large family room with electric fireplace and sliding doors leading to a covered patio and outdoor fire pit. (Wood supplied, not unlimited) A great place to unwind at the end of a day of hiking, canoeing, fishing or enjoying the sand beach on the river’s edge.
The beautiful Sand Beach area is enjoyed by both properties with plenty of space for all. The dock is also shared and large enough for 2 boats with room to spare. (4WD vehicle may be necessary to launch a boat)
Canoe and two life jackets supplied for both properties.
There is WiFi available, TV with a large selection of DVDs.
Rate
COTTAGE WITH A VIEW
$2600 per week, PLUS $150 cleaning fee and $50 service fee
VICTORIA DAY TO THANKSGIVING (minimum stay one week)
FALL (After Thanksgiving) & WINTER SEASON (only the cottage with a view is available)

Notes
- A minimum of half rate is due upon booking as a deposit paid via e-transfer.
- A refundable $500 security deposit is required for damage or extra cleaning. Property must be left clean and orderly by renters for refundable deposit.
- Regarding COVID-19, we are having professional cleaners coming in for each and every rental, with new linens freshly washed and every thing is sanitized after guest(s) leaves, before next guest(s) arrives.

Rules
- No smoking within dwellings
- No pets unless approved prior to rental
- No parties or events
- Outdoor firepit burning after 6 p.m. only
- Indemnity: cottage renter must be at least 25 years of age. In the case of unrelated group renters, all persons must be 25. Cottage renters are responsible for their guests and families activities at all times. Guests must be in charge of their children at all times. We accept no responsibility for any person or persons using the cottage and surrounding grounds for loss or injury to their person or property, whether loss through fire, theft, collision or vandalism including all items stored on our property.
- Occupancy Limit: our lake front home has a maximum occupancy limit. The cottage is for the enjoyment of the renter only, up to the maximum approved guests.
- Other guests or any visitors must be approved by us prior to the visit.
- Other guests/visitors are subject to fees.
- Absolutely no overnight guests other than the guests listed on the rental agreement are permitted. Family/group get-togethers are not permitted at our cottage without prior approval.
You must also acknowledge
- Security deposit – if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $500
Additional rules
- No diving of the dock – there’s an underwater rock!
Cancellations
Free cancellation for 48 hours. Cancel up to 5 days before check-in and get a full refund, minus the service fee. After that, cancel before check-in and get a 50% refund, minus the first night and service fee.
